Northside Engineering
Northside Engineering was established in 2006, we have been serving the packaging and manufacturing industries throughout the Uk, working with a wealth of knowledge in the design and manufacture of machines, servicing and repairing the equipment we know well from over fifty years in the packaging and processing machine manufacturing industry.
Our objective is to supply machines to the customers requirements, responding to requests to modify existing machines to improve efficiency or to cater for changing products.
Flexibility has always been the key to our business, we will always investigate a request, big or small, from a table top solution to a huge multi process machine handling six pallets of product on an infeed, de-stacking board blanks and processing them into retail bundles of 5 or 10.
Machine Building & Repair
We can carry out projects on any scale, whether it is for big and complex operations or small and simple for a specific need, we have the workshops to accommodate it, as well as the machine tools necessary to build them. We are proud that we can make almost all our parts in house.
We carry out repairs on almost any type of machine. With many machines originating from overseas we have found that whilst many are of excellent quality the service support is not always available long term, we are willing to take on these challenges and manufacture components not readily available, always to the existing quality or in many cases better.
Quality parts and materials
We always use quality parts in our projects, control systems such as PLCs are from Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley and Omron, we procure motor drive units from a UK company with an excellent reputation.
Our metal frames are powder coated locally to a very high standard, if it is a stainless steel project then the frames are manufactured for us locally in either 304 or 316 grade material depending on the environment requirements.
