Versatile Tray and Box Forming
Tray and box erectors process a flat or folded cardboard blank into a tray or case, recently we have seen many products being transported from manufacture in trays and cases, in some instances this tray is a shelf ready item from the start or one that is cut and perforated to transform from a full protection to a presentation / display tray.
Products loaded into trays become stable and protected, it maybe for conveying to a shrink film over wrapping or direct to pallet loading.
Innovative Design Capabilities
We have a design concept that caters for a very deep tray as well as long and wide trays, one project had a board blank almost one meter square, whilst another was for a blank that folded into a narrow high full carton that had its top flaps folded after the product was loaded to result in a simple but ideal means of packing a delicate product.
Hot melt glue from a tank and jetting system is used to bond the case corners, the result is a sturdy end product.
Tailored Machines for Every Line
By custom designing each application we can ensure we manufacture the machine for the job, site manufacturing space is always a prime concern so a small foot print is essential, conveyors can be tailored to suit the line layout either to an automated loading machine or a hand loading station.
We can build the machines for general production conditions or to a more specific dairy like specification with stainless frames and components. We prefer change parts for size changing as this gives a repeatable performance with the main folding components, PLC and touch screen controls allow for fine adjustments to glue positioning and product selection.
