Conveyor Applications Across Industries

We have manufactured countless conveyors, our tray erectors usually have an incline conveyor to transport the trays up to a working height often the trays are allowed to accumulate here so a very low friction belt is required along with variable speed, side guides and most likely sensors to control high and low limits. Printers and label applicators usually require their own sometimes short conveyor to accurately place the product in the right place at the right speed, either with a modular belt ensuring a positive drive but allowing some positioning quality or a high grip belt to pull the label from the head.

We make simple conveyors but more commonly make custom units, 45, 90 and 180 degree side flexing modular belts, long or short conveyors to fit a gap, manual side guides, pneumatic side guides to adjust to two widths or stepper controlled programmable side guides for fast repeatable product changing. Conveyors can be assembled on site to bridge something in the way such as services ducting. We supply both driven and gravity pallet conveyors.

Bespoke Packing Stations and Food Industry Solutions

Bespoke packing stations are becoming popular, in place of just a flat table with the operator moving product and cases we have made packing areas where trays and cases arrive on one conveyor and adjacent to that is a product conveyor possibly at a different height so the loading process becomes more streamlined and easier.

We have designed and manufactured processing conveyors for the food industry, built to a high hygiene level with food grade belts that are easily removeable for washing and drive units that are hygenically sealed. These conveyors have positions for operators to carry out the various stages for producing food stuffs, overhead tables hold totes of ingredients and an integral power, air and water services for check weighers and dispensers.

Construction, Durability and Control Features

Any conveyor we make is robust and traditionally built, sturdy base frames and side plates ensure the assembly can be expected to last and easily be serviced and maintained, if it’s a belt conveyor then we use an under belt tracking system to remove the problems of belts wandering off to the side.

When we include controls it is with a leading brand inverter module with robust industrial start / stop and E-stop buttons in an enclosed cabinet, if it's part of a system the inverter can be controlled via ethernet from a main control system. Our inverter drives are usually single phase adding to both safety and convenience, we use low voltage to the push buttons and we have exacting standards of safety on the entire conveyor.
